Week #32

The most interesting part of class would probably be when we read stories and Evan Johnson has an accent for every person. The least favorite part of class would be all of the grammar that we have. The hardest I laughed in the class? I can't remember laughing in English. My favorite memory from English class was getting to know miss Hudson since this was the first time i had her as a teacher. The best thing about miss Hudson as a teacher would be that she has a great sense of humor. I don't think I would have any advice for what she could do to make the class better.

Week #31

Just some advice for the up coming Freshmen. First off, procrastinating is really easy to do. Believe me a lot of people have done it. Once you fall in the hole of not doing your work or waiting till the last minute to do it it is really hard to pull yourself out of that hole. So i would say stay on top of your work. Your education can get you places in life. My next advice is for the up coming Sophomores. It is not hard to get your work done if you are in sports. Ms. Hudson told us at the beginning of the year that if you tell her that you have a game that night she will would figure something out so you can get your work done neat and on time.

Week #30

"I wish I may, I wish I might, I wish apon a star tonight." Little did I know that this simple little saying would change my whole world around for one day.  It all started when I woke up. After getting ready for school and making my way outside, there sitting in my driveway was a brand new 2017 Ford F-250 King Ranch with a 6.7L twin turbo diesel with an 8 inch lift kit rolling coal on 35 inch tires, and on the license plate it said "4 TAYLOR".  Just when I couldn't think it could get any better then that, Channing Tatum wearing nothing but jeans, boots, and a cowboy hat opened the door and said "Are you gonna just stand there? Or are you going to get in?"  I climbed in and on we went.  We spent the whole day together doing everything I love to do.  Finally we found ourselves park on the bank of a pond sitting on the tailgate watchin the sun go down and them beautiful summer stars come up.  He looked over and said " your eyes shine brighter then them stars and I had the most wonderful day with you today." He got off the tailgate and stood in front of me, "Taylor Renee Hofstatter," he said "these past few hours have meant the world to me and I wouldn't change them for anything else in the world." As he got down on one knee, I couldn't help but feel the butterflies begin to flutter in my stomach.  He looked back up to me, and with a smile on his face he said, "I had to tie my shoes."  I looked him up and down and said "you aren't wearing shoes, you are wearing boots."  He looked at me confused and flustered and said, " I was hoping you wouldn't notice, I just have been nervous this past few special moments." From behind his back he pulls out a small box, and I couldn't help but smile.  As he open up the box he looked at me with those big dreamy eyes of his and said, "Taylor Renee will you do me the honor of making me the happiest guy in the world and marry me?"  "Of course!' I said, and before I could say anymore I woke up.  It didn't happen, there was no truck, no Channing Tatum, and no Mrs. Taylor Tatum.  It was nothing but a dream, a dream that I got everything I ever wanted for one day. My favorite day. My anything-could-happen day. My very own Cinderella moment.

Week #29

Cage said " There is gold somewhere in this town! I need you to help me find it."  And on we went to find the sacred gold of Washburn.  From the west end of town to the very east part of town, we looked high and low for the gold following the maps every detail.  Very near to the end of the map we were left standing in the middle of town with no clues in sight.  Turning around in circles looking for what might be a small but yet helpful clue, it dawned on me. Sicily's.  The answer to the whole treasure of Washburn was Sicily's pizzeria.  The gold of the town had to be the golden brown crust of there amazing pizza. By the time we found what the real treasure was it was near dinner time, and we went to enjoy nice hot pizza.  Cage said "this is really the hidden treasure of Washburn!"

Week #28

One of the dumb laws I am going to write about is it is illegal to wear sagging pants in Collinsville Illinois. I agree that it is so unattractive to sag your pants but I don’t think it should be illegal. Haha I came across a dumb law in Galesburg that you cannot own a smelly dog. WHAT????? That is so crazy. If it is permanently an outside dog that cares if it is smelly it’s not in your house. All or most dogs have that smelly dog scent and that is the dumbest law I have seen.  

Week #27

I don't know if you would call this a mistake but i didnt want to take metamora classes as a freshman which i totally regret now because i am taking them this year and it was a lot of fun. i enjoy the classes i am in and i enjoy being in FFA. I dont really care for my first hour which is landscaping but i love my second hour vet tech class because i am learning a lot more about animals than i already know. i regret my mistake on not doing FFA. Even though i didnt take the metamora classes i could still do FFA and that was a big mistake to me because its so much fun.

Week #26

Well the leprechauns have stolen the Easter bunny and I have to figure out how to save him/ her so Easter will be the same again. First I have to get my team to help me. My team consists of Madison, Taylor L, Kirsten and Becca. Without them I can’t save the Easter bunny. You see the leprechauns had stolen the Easter bunny because they didn't like Easter and they didn't want anyone else to celebrate it this year so they took him/ her. With my friends awesome powers we will be able to save the Easter bunny in no time.

Week #25

I didn't/ don't really play with my food. The one thing I do remember doing me playing with my glasses of milk. I used to blow bubbles and mom, dad or anyone that was with me would yell at me because they would tell me it wasn't nice or respectful at the dinner table. I don't do that anymore thank goodness because I am in high school and that wouldn't be right. I also don't drink a lot of milk anyways. I was just babysitting my cousins the other day and they were playing with their food and I told them the same thing I was told when I was little. Don’t play with your food at the dinner table its disrespectful.

Week #24

What happened to Ms. Hudson's purple pen? Well I believe i would think about sneaky ones first. There would be a couple sneaky. :) Then maybe the smart ones you don't know what they would do. Then i would think about the rest of them u know the ones who don't talk very much or should i say the quiet ones. I don't think that it would end up in a trash can in the sky..... unless it was out of purple ink. OR maybe Ms. Hudson held it hostage and trying to blame it on everyone else. but there is one last option... Can you guess?

Week #22

So I know that there would be a lot of girls that would agree with me on this one. I like Channing Tatum. He is super good looking. He is in movies and is in one of my favorites too. He plays in the movie Step Up. This movie is about dancing. I have another celebrity crush from when the Twilight movies were popular. Some people think that Edward (the vampire) is cute but I totally disagree. I think Jacob (also known as Taylor Lautner) is the cute one in the movie. Everyone has more than one celebrity crush and many of them are different but those two are mine.

Week #23

The five most influential people in my life are my mother, father, my grandparents and even my younger brother. They can be a positive influence and I am able to learn from their mistakes. I always learn from my brothers mistakes mostly. If he gets in trouble for doing something, I learn from him and know hey I should not do that since my brother got in trouble if I do it I could get in trouble too. I believe that with every person even your younger siblings they can have a positive influence on u and u can learn from their mistakes. 

Week #21

If i had the power over cupids bow and arrows i dont know where i would start. just kidding. i would probably be a nice person/ cupid and if i see two people that like each other but they are too afraid to tell one another i would use cupids bow and arrows on them. After those people i would find one of my friends crushes or even better yet find one of the celebrities they like and use it on them. just kidding about the celeberties that would be kind of weird unless they were close to our age.

Week #20

If I got to be a little kid again i would change some things growing up. the first thing i would change is nap time. i used to complain about nap time and not wanting to sleep and now that i am in high school i don't get a nap and some days can be tiring. i would take advantage of the naps. the next thing i would change is tumbling. i used to be in tumbling from when i was little till about ten or eleven years old. i stopped because i thought i wouldn't want to do it anymore but now i wish that i kept up with it because it was fun. my last thing i would change would be about cattle. i would change me quitting showing for three years and actually show. from the age of seven to now. i am sure there are more things i would change if i could be a little kid again but there are so many. so i just picked three.

Week #19

So its Friday and I have woken up and gone to the barn to do my morning chores just like any other day. So i get up and get dressed and i put my rubber boots on. I am now on my way to the barn and i see all of the calves making their way to the barn. I start hearing them moo and not only that but i hear voices that i have never heard before. i looked around and nobody was outside the barn so then i thought was that the cows. i ran that through my head and thought no way cows cant talk. i started making the feed for them and putting it into buckets to take to their feed bunk and i heard " Hurry up we are hungry." I had given them their feed trying to ignore everything and went to school. everyone was talking about how they woke up that morning and had super powers and i started thinking. i had one too. My super power was hearing what the cows were saying to me this morning.

Week #18

So i am now on a dating show. i have to bring five objects that describe me so what would i bring? Well for starters i would bring my reserve grand champion heifer ribbon to represent that i show cattle and that i live on a farm. my second object that i would bring would be a softball. i would choose a softball that shows i am athletic and play softball. my third thing would be a toy plane to represnt that i love to fly (commercial and private planes). My fourth object would be my class ring to show what i am involved in and what school i go to. My final object would be one of my belts to show how i love bling belts.

Week # 17

Most of my dreams are in color unless they are in the dark. My craziest dream would be..I was in my room sleeping and i had two beds in my room because i had recently gotten a new bed. so i woke up but i didn't sit up because i noticed my other bed had a lump in it well the kid sat up straight and pulled out a gun from his pajama pants and shot but it wasn't just an ordinary gun. this gun shrunk me and there where one hundred other people there all crowded in a corner. then the giant door opens and huge monkeys come in and they start to attack. after that i woke up because it was crazy.
